R.C. Sproul’s classic work, The Holiness of God, is available for free (Kindle version) at Amazon.com.
I read this book about twenty years ago and look forward to reading it again. This book appears on “must read” lists of many respected Christian pastors and teachers. Get it now while it’s available for free. If you miss the free offer, it will be worth whatever price is charged.
Following is a brief description of the book:
Central to God’s character is the quality of holiness. Yet, even so, most people are hard-pressed to define what God’s holiness precisely is. Many preachers today avoid the topic altogether because people today don’t quite know what to do with words like “awe” or “fear.” R. C. Sproul, in this classic work, puts the holiness of God in its proper and central place in the Christian life. He paints an awe-inspiring vision of God that encourages Christians to become holy just as God is holy. Once you encounter the holiness of God, your life will never be the same.

Thanks for the heads up. I have it on paper and haven’t read it yet. Now I have the option of reading it on my Nokia device too. I’ve read Knowing God a little more than twice and look forward to reading this and Desiring God by Piper.

You’re welcome! It’s now on my Kindle so I’ll start reading it again soon.
